For $3.75 you can buy a bale of hay, for $18.00 you can buy a bag of grain, for $35.00 you can buy a round bale of hay. All of our rescues require yearly dental visits that cost $65.00, farrier care every 8 weeks that cost $40.00, and routine vet care that averages $125.00. No matter what donation you send our horses and staff our very grateful for your generosity and support.

Our rescue was founded in 2011 and we started out with a pregnant pony. Our numbers grew slowly and currently we have 48 equines in our care.
Izzy will be 8 this year and has been such a big help around the rescue. Izzy currently cares for the ponies and some of the horses. She grooms, feeds, and rides our adoptable ponies. She is learning vet care, training, and even the hard lesson of death. Izzy shows compassion, commitment, and understanding when working with a rescue. Izzy will be the first one to show you around the farm, tell you stories about each equine, and tell you how upset she gets when an equine lands in a bad place.

Here we are 12 years operating our rescue and we still love what we do!! We may have gotten older and Izzy has surely grown up, but one thing remains true we still enjoying helping horses of all sizes. We appreciate each and everyone who has donated to help us continue to keep our doors open.
Izzy's Love Equine Rescue is a 501c3 non profit rescue that helps slaughter bound, neglected, and owner surrender equines. We are NOT a breed specific rescue and focus on equines of all sizes, breeds, ages, and disciplines. We strive to rehab, retrain, and rehome equines and protect them from ever landing in a bad situation by giving them life long contracts.
